Lavish Events is owned by wedding & event specialist Nicky Gomes-Luis. With more than 12 years experience in the wedding and events industry, Nicky has been helping her clients create once in a life time moments to cherish, both here in New Zealand and overseas.

In 2007 she wrote Tying the Knot (published by Penguin SA) and, as a  wedding coach, she runs wedding planning workshops for New Zealand brides, helping to make their wedding planning more efficient and effective. She co-owns The Celebration Studio, the wedding and event ideas centre in Auckland and holds diplomas in Event, Exhibition and Conference Management and Project Management.

General Manager of Lavish Events is Barbara Orton. As co-owner of The Celebration Studio, she too has a great knowledge of the industry, however, Barbara's greatest strength is in her financial and administration abilities.
